Sir Walter Scott:
Sir Walter Scott was an Scottish novelist and poet. He was also an historian. He was known as the father of Regional and Historical Novels. He was born in 1771 in Scotland. He had a great influence in American and European literature. He died in 1832 at the age of 61 in Scotland.
