A journey by boat composition
Every kind of journey is always pleasant to all. Especially, a journey by boat is very joyful and comfortable. A journey undertaken by boat is called a journey by boat.
During the last winter vacation, I got a change to make a journey by boat. Some of my friends and I made a plan to visit my sister's house by boat. My sister lives in Manikganj on the bank of the river, Padma. It is ten miles away from our village.
On the fixed date, we hired a boat. The boat was small but nice. There were two boatmen in the boat. They were very friendly. We started our journey early in the morning. The day was very nice. The weather was also good. The river was calm and quiet.
The boat moved fast towards Manikganj. There were small waves in the river. I sat on the front part of the boat and enjoyed the scenes of the river. I saw many beautiful things on both sides of the river. There were people on the bank of the river. Some people were bathing. Children were swimming. Women were seen fetching water. The fishermen were fishing. Different kinds of birds were flying here and there. I also saw the paddy fields, jute fields, green trees etc. both sides of the river.
At noon, our boat arrived near a market. We got down there. We went to the market and bought rice, eggs, two large Hilsa, and other necessary things. Then we came back to our boat and started cooking those. We also took the necessary things for cooking with us. My friend Rahim was an expert in cooking. We also helped him. We took our lunch at 2.30 pm.
In the afternoon, our boat turned into the big river, Padman. Really, the Padman is a big river. I felt very nervous. But I enjoyed the afternoon scenes of the Padma.
After a long journey, our boat reached our destination at 6 pm. My sister received us cordially. I enjoy the journey very much. It was very comfortable, interesting, and exciting. It gave me a new experience in my life. I think it is more enjoyable than any other journey. I will never forget this beautiful journey by boat.
