A long time ago, when Raju was in Class 5, there was a fire in his school. Everyone was very afraid, but no one panicked. The teachers helped the students to leave the building quietly and safely. Soon the firefighters came and put out the fire. Raju watched the firefighters from the school yard. He thought about the fire and the firefighters for a long time. After college, Raju joined a volunteer fire department. As a volunteer, he didn't get any money for his work. But Raju didn't mind.

Now Raju is a full-time firefighter. It is his job, so he earns money for it. Most of the time his work is putting out fires, but he also teaches new firefighters about safety. He likes teaching very much. In his free time, Raju visits schools. He talks to students about fire safety. He tells them what to do if there is a fire. They shouldn't panic. Once upon a time, there lived a wood-cutter in a village. He was very poor but honest. His village was beside a jungle. He used to cut wood from the jungle, sell in the nearby market and bear his family's expenses. He was not rich but passed his life with great happiness.
One day, he was cutting wood near a pond in the jungle. Suddenly, his axe slipped out of his hand and fell into the pond. The pond was very deep. The wood-cutter became very sad and began to weep. Finding no other way, he prayed to God for help. Then a strange incident occurred. A beautiful fairy came out of the water and asked him why he was crying. The wood-cutter told her of his serious loss.
The fairy dived into the water and brought a silver axe. She asked him, "Is this your axe?" The wood-cutter saw the axe and said, “No." Then the fairy dived again into the water and brought a gold axe. She again asked him, "Is this your axe?" The wood-cutter saw the axe and said, “No." The fairy dived into the water for the third time and brought the actual axe. She asked him, "Is this your axe?" The wood-cutter saw the axe and then said happily that it was exactly his axe.
The fairy became pleased with the wood-cutter for his honesty and gave him both the gold and the silver axes along with his old iron axe. Then, the wood-cutter became rich and began to live happily. It was the reward of his honesty.
