For this reason, they face difficulties in understanding important information, finding good jobs. They also cannot improve their quality of life. There are many causes of illiteracy. Poverty is the main cause of illiteracy. Overpopulation is also responsible for illiteracy. Lack of social awareness, child labour, child marriage are causes of illiteracy. However, there are many ways to remove illiteracy. Proper education facilities and public awareness are very important to remove illiteracy. The government and educated people must come forward to remove illiteracy.
