Illiteracy is a major problem in Bangladesh. It means the inability to read and write. It is similar to darkness. It is our social curse. Most of the people of Bangladesh are illiterate. They do not know the importance of education. For this reason, they face difficulties in understanding important information, finding good jobs. They also cannot improve their quality of life. Illiteracy creates many problems in Bangladesh. It is an obstacle to our national development. It creates unemployment problems, terrorism, etc in Bangladesh. There are many causes of the illiteracy problem in Bangladesh. Bangladesh is an overpopulated country. Overpopulation is the main cause of the illiteracy problem in Bangladesh. Poverty is another cause of illiteracy. Lack of social awareness, lack of educational facilities, child labour, early marriage are responsible for the illiteracy problem in Bangladesh. However, it is a serious problem in Bangladesh. So we should solve this problem as soon as possible. There are many ways to remove the illiteracy problem in Bangladesh. Proper education facilities and public awareness are very important to remove illiteracy in Bangladesh. The government of Bangladesh and educated people must come forward to remove the illiteracy problem in Bangladesh.
