 Memo:

A memo is a short official note that is sent by one person to another person within the same company or organization. 


Purposes of Memo:

1. To provide information.

2. To request information.

3. To inform someone of actions, decisions.

4. To request actions.

5. To request decisions. 


Don't Have to Write:

In writing memos, we do not have to write Dear Sir/ madam / Mr. Rahim at the beginning or at the end. We just sign our Name. 


Language:

Memos between colleagues can be very informal. But Business memos to clients, suppliers, etc should use the language of a formal letter.
