A Rainy Day

A rainy day is a day when it rains all day long.  A rainy day is dull and gloomy. The sky remains cloudy. We cannot see the sun in the sky. Sometimes it rains cats and dogs. It also drizzles often. There are flashes of lighting and roars of thunder in the sky. Sometimes heavy wind also blows. In the rainy day, people cannot go outside without umbrella. The roads become muddy and slippery. The workers cannot go out for work. It brings misery to the poor people because they cannot go outside to earn money. But the rich people enjoy the rainy day. Most of the students cannot go to school. The cattle stand in their sheds. Some people play with card. So, a rainy day gives us joy too. Rainy day is a common scene in Bangladesh during the rainy season.
