Jonathan Swift:

Jonathan Swift was an Anglo-Irish writer. He was the greatest satirist of the 18th century. He was also an author, political pamphleteer and Anglican cleric. He was born into a poor family. He was born in 1667 in Ireland. His father was a clergyman in England. Jonathan Swift became famous for his great work Gulliver's Travels.  He died in 1745 at the age of 77 in Ireland.
