Rahim: I went to Dhaka to attend a seminar on arsenic pollution.

Karim : Oh, very good. How was the seminar?

Rahim: The seminar was very significant as the content of the seminar was very important.

Karim: Would you please tell me about the arsenic pollution.

Rahim : Of course. What do you want to know?

Karim: What is the arsenic pollution?

Rahim: At present, Arsenic pollution is causing hazards to our health. Arsenic is a kind of poisonous element. It mixes with water specially with tube-well water and pollutes it. This kind of water is harmful for drinking. 

Karim: What are the causes of arsenic pollution?

Rahim: The most important cause of arsenic pollution is the use of deep tube-well water indiscriminately. 

Karim: What are the effects of arsenic pollution?

Rahim: The effect of arsenic pollution is very serious. Arsenic can attack different cells of our body. The parts of the body like liver, kidney, heart, stomach, skin etc. are badly affected by arsenic pollution.

Karim: Oh my Good. It is very dangerous to our health. 

Rahim:  Yes, you are right. Due to arsenic pollution, skin gets peeled off. Itching becomes our regular companion. High cough attack our body as a sign of arsenic pollution.

Karim: Oh, I see. But how can we reduce this serious problem?

Rahim: We need to grow public awareness and government should come forward and take proper steps for reduce arsenic pollution.
